DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - An argument over a football bet led to the shooting death of a South Florida man Saturday night, WPTV reported.
According to Delray Beach police, the argument broke out around 11 p.m. when one man shot another man, the Sun-Sentinel reported. The wounded man fired back, killing the man who shot him, the newspaper reported.
The first man was taken to a Delray Beach hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second man was pronounced dead at a Boynton Beach hospital, WPTV reported.
The investigation remains open, police said.
