M1 NM - Real McCoy or Mixmaster?

On a certain website auction run by the organization formerly known as DCM, there's a M1 Garand National Match listed. Would this be as built by the military back in the day, or a recent mixmaster?

Looks pretty decent for a type 2
Love the solid straight grain of that stock.
It's currently at 3500$ and I think it will do more. With 7 days left I'm guessing this will reach 5k
The cmp auction has some deep pocket bidders.
