LTC Renewal - 2 licenses with diff. dates

Hey everyone, I got a letter in May from DCJIS to renew early (expiration 9/2022) so I applied the next day at Woburn PD to renew. I just received my new LTC (with restrictions removed) in the mail a few days ago and noticed that it's valid starting on my DOB on 9/2022 with a new LTC number.

Are both LTCs valid? Which one would I need to use for purchases? I couldn't find anything in the MGL website.

They are both valid, but only for the dates listed. Until your DOB in 9/2022, use your old one. Day after that, use your new one.
