LTC in Gardner

Has anyone applied in Gardner? If so do they issue? ALP isn't important to my friend, but obviously it would be a bonus.

A guy I work with was told point blank by the issuing officer. "We do NOT issue ALP licenses in Gardner"

He ended up with a T&S

On the + side, he said the turnaround was around a month.

When the new law came out in '98 the City of Gardner downgraded a whole bunch of folks to class B when it came time for renewal. What folks ? Why senior citizens who had "ALP" or "Protection of Life and Property" for decades. We can't have Gramps running around Gardner with his Harrington & Richardson break top .32 after all. [twisted] Either the Worcester Telegram & Gazette or the Fitchburg-Leominster Sentinel Enterprise ran an article about it, I do not recall which paper.
