Now that's one shotgun that can undisputedly be used for any SHTF situation!

This looks like another rendition of the "Atchisson Assault Shotgun". This marvel is capable of full auto fire and uses 10 round box mags and a 25 round drum and is pretty useless. The gun has been around for about 30 years and hasn't gone anywhere because you just don't need a full auto shotgun. One round of 00 buck will place nine .36 balls on the target; do you really need a multiple round burst? Shotgun shells are large and bulky which makes feeding this full auto wonder a problem. The gun is designed like an AR, another problem. One of the shotgun's advantages is its point fire ability; this is due to the design of the shotgun itself. Any move away from this design (a la the AR design) is a step in the wrong direction.

Many claims have been made about this gun's reliability and durabilty which are questionable because there aren't any on the market. About 30 years ago a guy who ran IPSC matches on the south shore became a dealer in these wonder guns. He took a bunch of deposits and was never heard from again. Fear of legal action prevents me from naming names and places.
