I don't know about anyone else, but I go through a bunch of batteries with my portable powder scale. I am looking for a (not too expensive) digital powdwer scale that has the option of an AC adapter. I can't seem to find one anywhere unless I get into the bigger tabletop versions. Anybody have any hints? Let me know. Thanks

How 'bout an ac to dc convertor (wall wart)?
even if your scale is not set up for it, you can add a couple of alligator clips to the end of the wires (watch polarity) and snake the wires in through the battery cover.

buy some metal hydride batteries and a charger pricey yes but they can be recharged 1000s of time and don't develop a m"memory" like ni cads do.
The other option is if it uses a 9 volt but a cheap 9 volt ac supply and get the connector from Radio shack and solder it on

I got a Pact Digital Precision Powder Scale from Steve at Shooters box for $129.00 to replace my mini scale.

Real easy to use, just plug in and that's it. He has some cheaper ones that would work just as well.
