LEM type pistol question

I have an opportunity to buy LEM version hand gun FTF but im not sure if its legal for none LEO to have an LEM type model.
can anyone please clarify this.Im located in our "free" state Mass.

As long as you don't get any post-ban high capacity magazines and it isn't a "assault pistol" you're fine.

For the thousandth time- Handgun compliance in MA is not an issue for possession. Ever. All the LEM is is another trigger type for various HK
handguns. I owned one, several other (non-LE) people I know own or have owned them in MA. You can also buy the parts from anywhere and
convert the USP to take that trigger setup, as well.
