K98 Sling Length

I have 4 slings that all measure different lengths. The longest 59 1/2", 47 1/2, 46 1/2, 45 1/2.
Is there a standard size?

I took the sling off the left most rifle, and got 52". Using the buckle as reference, the other five are about 49, 53, 49, 52, and 51 inches.

According to Kriegsmodell, a typical sling is 1220mm, or 48 inches. Obviously many have stretched over 75+ years.
