I'm looking for the manual for an Iver Johnson tp22.

I inherited one recently and it hasn't been maintained for quite some time.

Anyone know how to at least field strip one of these?

I've been searching but coming up empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Michael

Field strips just like a Walther PPK. Drop magazine, cycle slide to check chamber, pull down trigger guard and remove slide. This cheap piece of crap will "run away" on you if you use high-velocity .22s, spitting out three or four rounds in a burst. If you use standard velocity .22s, if often stovepipes and jams. Sometimes, it takes more than one firing pin hit to light off the cartridges. Very unreliable. I fired one about 25 years ago that belonged to a co-worker and was not impressed by it at all.
