IN - Homeowner Shoots Two Intruders, Killing One

One person is dead after an attempted home invasion on the city's northwest side.

When officers arrived on the scene they found 29-year-old Joshua Bennett lying in the parking lot, dead from gunshot wounds. A few minutes later, officers were informed that a second person was shot and had been dropped off at near by Westview Hospital.

The tenant of the apartment tells police the two men attempted to force their way inside his apartment. That's when the armed tenant confronted the two intruders at the door.....
