I always like to benchrest my guns first when i first purchase them to see how accurate they are and how they group. I was taught by an old timer at a gun club when i was a kid. He taught me to take a deep breath and let it out then take another one and let it halfway out and hold it and shoot. Another thing i learned to do is to pull the gun in a downward direction into the gun rests. You need to be fussy on adjusting the gun until it lines up when pulled down but once its set your good to go. Then apply the breathing and your right on and you will see the results right away. Once you start doing it you will do it automatically. The beathing method applies when hand holding the gun too. You can practice this at home too then apply it at the range. The accuracy of your shots will greatly improve.
