IDPA @ New Bedford - Saturday 4/7 **Classifier Match**

We kick off our IDPA season with the IDPA Classifier. This is a 3 stage event, 30 rounds per stage for a total of 90 rounds.

Registration starts at 9am, shooting starts at 9:30am.

We're always interested in new folks getting involved, both new shooters to the sport as well as people wanting to get involved in helping with the match. New shooters are always welcome.

Do you have to be an IDPA member to shoot the qualifier? If so, can you join IDPA while at the club?

Someone may correct me if I'm wrong, but generally you make shoot the classifier and mark your scoresheet as membership pending.

You are allowed to shoot one IDPA match before becoming an IDPA member. Until you are a member, you do not have a classification. When you do join IDPA, you're performance on the classifier will counted and your classification card will be updated. You can join IDPA at any affiliated IDPA club as part of any match. In fact, if you join through a local club, they actually get to keep a small commission so it helps out the local club (not much, but a little is still more than nothing). If you plan to join IDPA, print off the membership form and bring it with you to the match, but instead of a check made out to IDPA, make it out to the Club, or pay cash. The club will turn in the fee on your behalf.

Lots of people shooting on saturday. Harvard had 125, worcester 60+, and however many you had at NB.

New classifications were uploaded to IDPA today. There are still a few folks who listed 'Pending' IDPA membership. Once you get your number, please let me know and I'll update IDPA with your classification. Tx
