ICORE classifier today @ Albany NY

By popular request, our next match on Sunday, May 4 will be a special classifier match with 4 ICORE classifier stages. If we're able to have everything measured out and set up in time, I may add a 5th stage (probably a steel challenge type stage), so plan on enough ammo for about 100 rounds minimum. I still plan to find a date for the Australian 2nd quarter postal before that match expires June 30.

Classifier stages will be:

Match begins at 1 pm, set up will begin at 11 am (the Blackpowder League has the back range for the morning). Match fee will be $16, waived for those who arrive by 11 am and work the day (ICORE members working the match will pay $8 to cover the classification fees).

I'd like to get some other groups/clubs try ICORE also.
Most everybody has a wheel gun lying around somewhere
If peolple would try it, they would probably like!
But, you have to shoot A's!

Well, I have a box of targets all set to go. Shot the Postal all last year. Maybe we can get the MRA crew on board with this 10MMDave, HDGUN, PMD, WHITEY and the guys all shoot round guns. I would drive for that even if my gas went to $900 this month.

I did the double again today, Westfield USPSA in the AM, then off to Albany ICORE for 1PM........
Great fun , great folks. I shot the classifer ( 4 stages ) and will likely stay a unclassified,[sad2]
but I had a ball.

I'd love to do some ICORE at Harvard but the place is pretty booked and
then you'd have to pic a weekend that wouldn't mess up someone else's
USPSA shoot !!
I just had a thought of piggy-backing on Harvards USPSA weekend, have an
ICORE match the Sat before and use some of the props being used for the USPSA match.
It would mean a Sat afternoon match and then for the USPSA folks shooting on
Sunday would mean lots for drive time.

I don't know, I'm not ready to do anything till late July/August anyway, I got way too much
I haven't done yet this year

be to see if I could do it.

I am in and will help. I also can bring targets. Mooney, Jackie, and maybe others will probably be up for it. Saturday is better for me than Sunday and would the 5th Sunday be labor Day Weekend??

Yes that Sunday, August 31st, is Labor Day weekend, Monday would be a
holiday for those that usually get it. (I could re-coup and do the stats )

Checked the Harvard calender and the only thing listed is some 50 yrd rifle shooting.

Guess I better check with Massman @ MRA and see if he has anything going on.

So that being a holiday weekend, is that a bad thing for folks thinking about
shooting this type of event ??

ps, you don't have to be an ICORE or USPSA or IDPA member to play, you just
need a minimum 6 shot wheel gun, 6-8 speed loaders along with holders and a
holster. 120 power factor ammo is all that's needed.
