I have been making bread for awhile now. Haven’t perfected burger buns. But. Bar room pizza dough is spot on.This is serious survival stuff here. You gotta be able to make your own with the new covid crisis about to hit.
I added a an extra tablespoon of butter and an extra egg this time. I'm trying to get to the ultimate soft burger bun.

Just your run of the mill ones. I have been using them for years. Probably from Amazon or Walmart. I've got a batch of my wife's wild apple, pear, and choke cherries sauce in a water bath.Looks great! What kind of canning tongs are those?

The sauce had been canned. No failures to seal. Woohoo! I started reusing lids when everyone became a "canner" during covid. Some lids have been used five times.Looks great! What kind of canning tongs are those?
Me too. But there is nothing better on the planet than a burger with patties in place of the bun. Messy but deliciousI miss making bread but for my Keto lifestyle it is verboten.
