Home defense training

I'm looking to sign up for a home defense/ personal safety training class in southern maine. I have seen one place, Firearm Safety, in Yarmouth ME. offering the training I'm looking for which I'm probably going to go with unless someone can offer a better option.
Has anyone taken the class through Firearm Safety?
My goal is to take the home defense class and then work my way up to getting my Concealed Carry Permit.

Look for a "Personal Protection Inside The Home" class from the NRA. You should be able to locate instructors in your area on the NRA website.
