Holster Pr0n

J

Jose

Finally got my custom holsters from Kevin Manley at K&D Holsters, and they are works of art. Both are Cochise Defender IWB tuckables with a sweat shield. One for my Model 65 and the other for my Model 915.

I am never going back to Kydex.

Thanks for posting Jose, I just checked out their website and my 3" model 60 is listed without any extra charges, I just might order one.

Just what is "Holster Pr0n" supposed to mean?

Shrimp don't need holsters. Is it your absurd attempt to say "porn?"

Very nice leather, whatever the caption is supposed to be.

It's an attempt to keep NES from popping up on search engines when people type p-o-r-n. [thinking]

And that's "prawn" thank you very much. [wink]

And perhaps they do need holsters, after all they are a fairly small organism with a whole bunch of natural predators.

Hmmmm if a .380 is a "mouse gun", what caliber would a shrimp gun be? [smile]

Scrivener, here's your sign award

I don't care who you are, that's funny right there. No doubt Scrivener is too busy doing, well something, to understand how programs like Net Nanny and others search and determine which sites contain adult content. As you obviously know, it's pretty common in both the blogosphere and Internet forums to spell that word the way you did or to insert a 0 instead of an O.

Gary

As we have numerous threads using the word "porn," alpha-numeric babble does not achieve the benefit claimed.

A prawn would use a Kelp-Tec, of course....

shhhhhhhhh, don't give away all of our internet secrets. Al Gore wouldn't want it that way.

Then:

1. Type "holster" and stop; or

2. Type "p0rn" instead of "pr0n" [rolleyes]

As this site has the word "porn" on it already and would also be blocked by "anti-violence" software, your efforts would still be worthless, but your spelling would be less defective.

[rofl][laugh2] I love it, in one simple sentence Scriv ruins the whole purpose of the thread title. Genius...pure genius.

(And scriv, FWIW, "pr0n" is one of those 'net shorthand things. Loved the "Kelp-Tec", BTW...)

"Shorthand?" Let's see:

"porn" - 4 letters, real word

"pr0n" - 4 characters; willful slacker babble

So what has this "shorthand" saved?

Glad you enjoyed the "Kelp-Tec." [wink]

As far as I remember, pr0n was what me and my friends used to name our porn directories on our computers back in the early 90's so our parents wouldn't think it was porn. Very clever, I know.

btw: keep showing some holsters. I'm in the market, and don't know what to get or where to look so talk amongst yourselves so I can absorb.

I've been wearing the holster now for several days and I can say it is unquestionably more comfortable than anything Kydex AND the Crossbreed Supertuck that I used to carry my Model 65 in.

The Supertuck's major discomfort was having the rough side of the leather out to the skin, and I hate holsters that stick all over my undewear. The Cochise is smooth side out and feels like butter against the skin. Also, my undershirt does not bunch up causing uncomfortable pressure points.

The draw is slower, but if one draws smoothly the gun pops right out. It is only difficult when you try to jerk the pistol out like you can with kydex.
