Help with proper registration

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to figure everything out before I get super committed to this. If I have a trust, how do I register the firearm after its built on a form 1? It asks for first and last name, but do I just use the business name as the trust?

I just want to know entirely what I am supposed to do.


And not NFA related, but moving my non NFA firearms into the trust, I would have to do an FA-10, but the trust doesn't have a license...how does this work?!

MA doesn't recognize the trusts as firearm owners since trusts can't have an LTC. One of the trustees will have to be the "owner" as far as MA is concerned and be the one who registers it using their LTC info on the gun transaction portal.

Same thing with your non-NFA items, you can't transfer them to the trust since trusts can't have LTCs. You can still assign them to the trust, but one of the trustees will be the "owner" as far as the MA "system" is concerned.
