For Immediate Release:
Leominster Republican Committee to Offer Free Firearms Training to LGBT Community
The Leominster Republican Committee is offering a firearms training course to members of the Leominster area LGBT community at no charge.
Class size is limited to the first twenty-five respondents and will be held at the Leominster Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The class will be taught by certified instructors from Tactical Dynamics Firearms Training (Medford, MA) – as a means to reach out to the LGBT community in the wake of the June 12, 2016 terror attack on the Pulse Nightclub and the continued infringements on Second Amendment rights across the country and in our Commonwealth.
The class training will meet requirements for applicants to apply for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts ‘Class A License to Carry’ a firearm and include both didactic and live-fire training.
Thomas “Frank” Ardinger, Republican Candidate for State Representative, stated “The Leominster Republican Committee should be congratulated for reaching out to the LGBT community with this program, The Second Amendment doesn’t discriminate and everyone has the right to protect themselves against the type of attack that we saw in Orlando.”
Those interested in participating should contact Leominster Republican Committee Chairwoman, Gwen Meunier via e-mail at <[email protected]>
