FL - Man Walking Dog Shoots At Armed Would-Be Robbers

The Lakeland Police Department is investigating an armed robbery attempt that took place at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of East Lemon Street after a victim called 911 and reported that two young men had just attempted to rob him at gunpoint.

A 58-year-old Lakeland man was walking his dog in the area when he was approached by two young black males, the report said. One of the males confronted the man with a handgun and demanded money.....

I wonder if the story is wrong, or if this guy outdrew the guy holding a gun on him, contrary to internet gun forum logic.
