Why do you like your Hydra Shoks so much?

PS: My defensive ammo is currently 230 Gr. .45 ACP 'shoks But I've been contemplating switching to black talon clones.

less flash I have noticed, but I no longer carry them.. (shot them all at the range...opps)
plus the fact they have great take down "The jacket expands as a wadcuttter, and the pin allows some Armour piercing ability"

You should see the results in ballistic gel and also meat... they do what they are ment to

They are reliable in my guns and are readily available. The reliable part is the most important to me.

I like Hydra-Shoks because they have been the most accurate SD rounds I have tried. And I can't see one brand of HP bullet plugging up on fabric but not another. So until I can get hold of some Federal EFMJ I am going to stick with what shoots straightest in my firearms.

I have many rnds of Hydra-shok but I usually carry Winchester Rangers.
