I have an old sony vaio laptop running Backtrack5 as its primary OS, for the sole purpose of snagging wifi passwords from A-hole neighbors, just in case. It works, but it takes forever. I've seen anywhere from an hour to 10 hours.

Are you using aircrack-ng with packet inject? Should take about 20 minutes max for WEP.

Default w/ WEP (written right on the router itself). Fun times. There's like 10 i can pick up - all the same. ZZMUO, JUQO7 ect... I alway go for the "tannner family and Jenny". Types just to see. Lol
