DuraCoat and sights...

When refinishing a slide with DuraCoat should one remove the sights or simply mask them off? I believe that once the sights are removed they will never fit the same when put back in. Am I wrong?

I'd mask them off.

If you remove them, you'll have to go though the process of getting it sighted in properly and if a brass drift punch is needed, you run the risk of marring up your new finish.
