A buddy bought a nice, minty SAFN49 rifle in 7x57 at Julia's auction a while ago. I don't suppose somebody here knows the recipe to duplicate the military load for 7x57? Maybe point me to a website that would tell me?

Duplicating Military 7x57 load?

Which military load?
The original military load used a 173gr pushed to 2296 fps and can be obtained by using 34gr IMR 3031, or 39gr H380, or 35gr IMR 4895.
Brazil and Columbia used a 139gr pushed to 2950fps and can be obtained using 41gr IMR 3031, or 43gr of either IMR 4064 or 4895, or 46gr H380.
Then those Mexicans liked to load 155 or 162gr ball to about 2300fps, and you can do that using 33.6gr IMR 3031, 35gr of either IMR 4064 or 4895, or 37.8gr H380.
The velocity figures come from "Cartridges of the World", and the loads come from Either Lee and/or Sierra.
