Standardization for what purpose? For HD or competition the Tavor will suit just fine. For SHTF there will be more parts available for the AR but at least you've got magazine commonality. A potential issue for SHTF and maybe competition is handedness; the AR has the Tavor beat there. I prefer the Keltec RDB myself.
