This advanced handgun class is being offered to qualified individuals seeking to enhance their skills. Students will be pushed to find their failure points for speed, accuracy and non-traditional shooting positions. Plus students will have the opportunity to shoot a significant number of rounds (700+) while developing speed, accuracy and situational awareness. Students will be challenged with stress testing including par timed drills and multiple target scenarios. This a a shooting class! Come and shoot. (Class 8:30 AM -5 PM at Bradford Sportsman's Club, Bradford RI).
Students will discuss and practice multiple training techniques. Other topics include:
• Presentations from holster and from different "ready" positions
• Shooting on the move
• Shooting from cover
• Single handed shooting with dominant hand and non-dominant hands
• Shooting under stress (very tight par times)
• Accuracy drills (trigger press, sight picture and sight alignment)
• Malfunction clearance drills
• “Point shooting” and CQB concepts of close contact shooting
• Speed reloads, and single handed reloading
