CZ 452 OR 455

I have a 455. Great, sporting .22 rifle, but it's in no way a benchrest rifle. It will work (meaning it will put a bullet on the target), but it's no where near what you need to shoot 10's with any consistency.
455 is just an updated 452.

It'll work and is the most accurate .22lr bolt action you can get for the price until you get into anschutz territory...
Skip the 455 and try to find a 452. The 455 devolved the CZ .22lr line [thinking]

would these rifles be good for benchrest?

Ive seen many of these threads and how they end up..... Are you looking for a competition gun or a fun range gun?

If you are looking for a completion rifle, than NO the CZ will not be on par with the average rifle you will be competing against.

If you are looking for a tack driving range gun the CZ WILL be better than about 98% of the other rimfires you will find at the range and will hold very tightly at 50 and even 100 yards
