Time: 0800 - 1600 hrs (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)
Cost: $125.00 for NES Members & Military/Police, $200.00 non members
Course Details:
Concealed CarryTime: 1 Day (8 Hours)
Lunch and range time included
Private and group courses available
Instructor certified by Sig Sauer Academy
Meets NH Armed Security License requirements
Hands on training to include Dry Fire & Live Fire Exercises
This course is designed to build solid defensive handgun skills that the student can utilize to increase survivability in a deadly force encounter.
Topics Covered:
Proper draw and holstering techniques, presentation to the target, proper use of cover, point vs. precision shooting and the myths & facts behind them, One handed shooting and operation, reloading drills and how to execute them, shooting outside your comfort zone, low light techniques, multiple targets and how to engage, bullets and vehicles, strike and shoot techniques, shooting from different positions, importance of moving and communicating, hostage scenarios & much, much more.
Prerequisites:
Must have completed an NRA Basic Pistol Safety Class or Equivalent Ex: S&W, Sig Sauer Academy, (Certificate of completion in hand), must be able to hold your arms out in front of you, un-supported for brief moments of time.
Equipment required: student supplied
Personal protection hand gun, will be Inspected at start (must be at least .380 cal or higher)
Concealed Carry Holster
Minimum of 3 Magazines for Semi-Automatic, 4 Speed loaders for Revolver
Spare Magazine/Speed loader pouch
Eye & Ear protection (wrap around eye, over the ear type muffs) and a Brimmed Baseball Cap
550 rounds of FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) ammunition (NO LEAD)
10 Dummy Rounds (distinctively marked)
Cleaning Kit
Sufficient water and snacks to last through the Day
Gloves if needed
Clean Sweat Towel
Clothing: student supplied
Every day attire (used for concealed carry) pertaining to time of season attending class
Foot Attire:
Sneakers, Work Boots or Hiking Shoes (NO open toe or high heels)
Note: Student will be getting semi dirty, Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty
