The New York Supreme Court has issued an injunction to the act at the end of February stating the state must prove the NY SAFE Act is, in fact, constitutional or it can not be enacted.

If SAFE goes to the SCOTUS it may be the death knell for AWB's in all states. I hope that Bloombush ended up doing us all a big favor.
