The guy was protecting himself and his property...which was controlled but the gov.(the plant he was authorized to grow)

If it was you or I tresspassing or breaking into a Fed Farm armed by gov guards and they shot and killed one of us...there would be no story or issue.

There might be more to the story but thats how msnbc rolls.

Sounds like he shot (and killed) in defense of his property. When the state is the ultimate owner of all you own--and you--then you're not allowed to do this sort of thing. Unless if they say you can. And, this guy just off'd a taxpayer, and California needs all the taxpayers it has.
