Buying between an LTC transfer?

Hey all- here's the situation:

1. Have LTC registered in Town A, moved out recently
2. Living with a friend in Town B
3. Moving into Town C tomorrow, filing transfer paperwork on Monday (already have it from local PD)

Can I safely purchase a gun tomorrow at a gun show, even though my LTC isn't technically up to date?

Yes. Put down your real address as of the date of the transaction.

I made my first two MA gun purchases the day I got my license, which coincidentally was the day I moved to a new address. Of course I filed my change of address that day I believe, but I used the current address (my new one, since that's where I was living as of the day of the purchase) as the one for the purchase.
