He needs to do four things to wind up being a hero

And I think it is doable in three years:

1. Kick Ass in Iraq and get the hell out (Excellent Chance)
2. Seal the borders and evict current illegals (Doubtful)
3. Get Alito and one more real conservative on the SC (Good Chance)
4. Ram through another tax cut (depends on how 1, 2 & 3 go)

I think people who are writing him off don't give the guy enough credit.
Americans have the memory span of a gnat. We barely even remember 9/11.

More than 1/2 a point for deporting illegals. If he deported existing illegals, sealed the borders, sealed the airports ( 50% fly right on in and claim asylum or overstay visa folks ) and forgot this stupid guest worker b/s then his numbers would immed jump to the mid 60's.

Oh yeh, and stopped giveing all out money away to the third world.
