The school my kids went to (years and years ago).

Two reports, typical crappy reporting. Still don't know if it was a bullet, or a cartiridge (or even just some brass). Still don't know if it was rimfire, pistol, or rifle (which have different implications). Wonder what caliber it was.

METCO is a program that has outlived it's mission and should be dissolved.

In addition IMHO it is a racist program since METCO does not afford ALL minorities the opportunity to participate.

Ask anyone in Melrose how the METCO program has enhanced their kids education.

It was not known yesterday whether the boy, whom the officials said was not guilty of a crime, would be allowed to remain at the school.

seems like he might be in this wonderful state.

I went to school with METCO program, and my kids school has it, and I don't particularly like it. I feel like it dumped more than a fair share of behavior problems into our schools.

METCO is actually unconstitutional. And if you truly have a grievance, you can SUE and win under equal protection.

It is illegal for the govt to do anything for anyone without doing the same for everyone, quite simply. (A good method to get tax abatements)
