Suing FaceBork because someone hurt your feewings. Suing Google because you searched for something and the information is wrong. Although I'd like both of them sued just on principal.

Finally got a decision dismissing Stokinger's case on communication decency act grounds. This is the second case brought by the Brady bunch that has been dismissed on CDA grounds.

The federal law was quite strong on the communication decency act, there really wasn't any wiggle room in my opinion although the Brady lawyers tried to stretch it pretty hard.
“This is not an anti-gun case. Certainly officer Stokinger is not an anti-gun person in any way,” said Jonathan Lowy, an attorney with the Brady Center.

Aside from his voluntarily becoming one of the (very anti-gun) Brady Bunch, of course.

Good, but these need to start getting dismissed "with prejudice", and the plaintiffs counter-sued. The Brady Bunch's pockets are not limitless when they start losing harassment lawsuits, and they'll have a hard time finding willing partners when the co-plaintiffs start seeing the possibility of getting hit with counter-suits and damages.

It's being discussed. Brady Center is behind all these suits. They believe, incorrectly, that each state should be able to interpret for itself the CDA and accordingly each suit is not frivolous. Obviously we disagree and they are simply trying to litigate Armslist to death.

As you can see the defendant was acquitted of shooting Stokinger.

It's already been dismissed. The only issue is whether the judge reconsiders her order of dismissal for lack of jurisdiction. It's also dismissed on communication decency act grounds.
