Thinking about a BiPod for a Match Target AR I picked up. Didn't know there were so many styles out there, so Talk to me brothers and sisters.

Ridged, pivot, adjustable legs?????

Harris?

Thanks,

Ken

+1 for the harris. get a set with swivel, and you can order a part called the swivel lock, or something like that. It's basically a little plastic lever that allows you to switch between a swivel and locked mode. I haven't seen or used anything that even compares with the quality and durability of the harris sets.

How about leg heights? Is 6-9 Inch O.K., or 9-13. Primary use will be bench shooting, but varmint is not out of the question.

another +1 on the Harris Bi-Pod and YHM Rail Adapter.

mine is porting a 9 to 13" Harris w / leg notches.... it's a good balance for me as I already have 2ea., 6 to 9" BR's (bench rest).

IF you are shooting off the bench, 100 % of the time, the 6 to 9 will suit you well.

i got the 9 to 13" to diversify [laugh] and do some prone shooting
