Same here. Some of it was specific to the C96 but I think a lot of it can apply to any milsurp

Ian has a few of these real versus refurbished versus faked videos, including Lugers. If I was going to buy a new surplus gun, I'd comb Forgotten Weapons + InRange for all videos available.

I was very interested in the part about the rounding of the edges and what not with the floorplates. It's something I probably wouldn't have noticed. The drastically different wear colors, on the other hand...
