AR Question

My buddy just got a pre ban AR with a grenade launcher. It came with what seem to be blanks, are there any rounds that are more "exciting" for the pumpkin shoot?

They make smoke grenades for them. Not sure how "exciting" those are though. You're not going to get anything explosive or anything really cool without jumping through a lot of legal hoops.
