I have a question regarding value of this recently purchased Savage 4c .22 rifle with Weaver G4 scope and base. When purchased, I went by the condition of it alone, and figured it could be my winter indoor rifle. The owner of the little "Mom and Pop" shop where i purchased it had no real info on it other than it's a nice rifle. After a brief "google" search, I found out that it was made in the 1940's due to the checkering on the handgrip, and no serial #. You wouldnt think it's that old and I guarantee you'd be amazed how beautiful this rifle fires and it's accuracy is immense.
Gun broker and Guns America has similar ones for sale but are complete pieces of s__t!. and are being sold for chump change.
If anyone knows anything about them, let me know. Hey, I may even buy ya a cup of coffee over some info.

The pics are posted in the January acquisitions. Thanks, Matt
