This worries me a bit as well (more in a "how they're going about it" rather than a "what they're doing" manner). Seems like every day more of our individual liberties are restricted and the supposed "representatives" in our government find new ways to pull more power unto themselves.

I'll be interested in hearing other's opinions on these. Kinda sad that both of these came about because they were attached to a bill that was guaranteed to pass (the bill's primary purpose was to provide funds to supply our troops with necessary equipment and ammunition...who in their right mind would vote against that, even with these two amendments attached?).
