This thread will probably progress verrrrrrry slowly, like my (1st) build.

Parts to date:

S&W stripped lower
RRA LPK

Done to date:

Magazine catch
Making an "armorer's block" for my vise. The quotes are used because it is ugly but holds the lower for me. [grin]

and so it goes......[rockon]

My CMMG trigger guard had too small a hole for the roll pin, so I had to drill it out.

Just need a BCG to be GTG!

Good luck with your build. Once by barrel gets here from Compass Lake, mine will be done!

Don't forget to fit a dowel to the inside of the upper (where the bolt carrier goes) to support it.

When you put the upper receiver into the vise to attach the barrel, you will want something to make sure the preasure from the vise doesn't distort the upper. It doesn't take much to ruin the upper and you might not realize it until after you shoot it and notice the bolt carrier "sticking" or rubbing on the inside of the receiver.

In short, it's cheap insurance.
