Hey Men

I just inherited a old Winchester 1892 lever action clone. It is actually made in Spain, the name of the company escapes me right now lol. However I have no idea about .44 Long ammo. Does anyone have any idea where I can get some, how much or if I can shoot another ammo that will work? Also if anyone is a big Cowboy shooter I think this gun is of that style. I have seen this same gun listed for 12-15 hundo so anyone who is knowledgeble about that get back to me.

It almost sounds like it is 44-40. I was reading in Cartridges of the world and they said that Spain made a copy of the Winchester 1892 for police and civil guard use and where chambered in 44-40. What is stamped on the top of the barrel?

I'm curious about this rifle too. I love lever actions and the Winchester 92 is my favorite. I don't own a REAL Winchester 92, I have a few 94's, but I do have a Browning B92 which is as close as you can get to JMB's original design without the "Winchester" name on it.
