WTS 2001 Yamaha YZF600R

It is with a heavy heart, but I am finally selling my 2001 YZF600R with 10,592 miles on it. I am the second owner and have owned it since 2004. It has never been stunted or raced and it has a clean title. The bike runs and drives great, but between having a Jeep Wrangler and working in Boston I just don't find myself riding it much anymore. I probably should have sold it 3 years ago but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

This is the most comfortable sport bike I have personally driven.

Modifications:

• Yoshimura RS-3 slip on pipe, sounds great
• Sprocket Specialist 14/49 sprockets
• Ivan's Performance jet kit
• Pyramid Plastics rear seat cowl. This gives the appearance of a single seat but is easily removed to expose a second seat.
• Tinted windscreen
• Frame sliders
• Flush mount blinkers front/rear
• Custom tail/brake light

The custom tail/brake light is from a Honda 954RR. This is a very common modification for the YZF600 group, and I was actually the one who came up with it back in '05... so you would be buying the original YZF600 with this light. Since I came up with it some of it is a little crude, but the YZF community took it and ran with it. There are great templates and wiring diagrams out there now should you want to improve on it.

The bike also comes with a cover, tank bra, soft saddle bags, extra set of brand new brake pads, and the original rear light/blinkers. I might also have the clear windscreen around somewhere but I'm not sure.

This is back on the market. The carbs were cleaned over the winter and it runs even better now.
