Today was my 1st time in the woods looking for the deer.
I got to my spot just before 5am, sat down and waited. At around 5:30am it's still dark but I see a set of green eye's moving around, I hear the branches snapping as it's moving around then it's gone. Another hunter scared it off going to his tree stand which was deeper into the woods than my spot. [crying]
Now this guy was hunting with a bow, I thought bow season ended on the 20th. Does bow season acualy stop on the 20th or does it run into shotgun season?

You can use a bow during both shotgun and black powder IIRC. If you've got a copy of the abstracts (if you're in MA), browse through and it should specify.

It just gives 2 dates for bow just like shotgun

Take a look at page 14 at the top.

"Archers may hunt with a bow and arrow during the shotgun season and muzzleloader season but must comply with the shotgun or muzzleloader season regulations"
