I have been slowly restoring this for about 6 months now. Might sell before the winter, or I'll finish restoration over the winter.
The good:
Frame in excellent shape
Body in good shape
desirable sidestep style
302 Engine runs well, tranny shifts fine
Borg-Warner 4 speed stick
side exhaust before the wheels (Sounds amazing)
(truck was originally a 3 speed on the tree)
Brand new full body wiring harness
4 new shocks
new ignition module
brakes bled and cleaned
new front floor panels & Carpet
cab corner and rot repair (not complete- see photos)
Paint matched and 2 spraypaint cans and one pint of paint provided
New edelbrock 600 carb
Entire bed was removed, flipped and rot removed, welded in new steel, primed and painted.
Inspected, registered, clean title.
rear view camera installed, (drains power, I just plug it in when driving)
Needs:
some more carpet installed.
whine after 15 minutes of driving (might be a a bearing)
some of the roof water rails are rotted, will need removal or replacement
A speedometer cable. (I'll likely install soon)
its a 52 year old truck, needs a few other little things.
No radio / speakers
