What's also funny is that they show a scary black rifle and talk about 'assault weapons', and then do not give any percentage of crimes committed with "assault weapons", not that it makes any difference. It is a total non sequitur.

The United Kingdom has always had a lower homicide rate than the US, regardless of whether they made firearms illegal. But the rates of murder have been going up there since the 19th century.
