I noticed your thread on 1911 from scratch in damascus. Check out Kristy Tool, or KT ordinance. This Rick used to be in Ma but moved to out west. He makes 1911 frames in mirror immages and then has them brazed. All you need to do is cut the rails and drill some holes. I know he and another guy built one with a dewalt drill. I have also seen what was left of a frame that had some qc issues when he first started. He beat it apart with a 16oz framming hammer. I am sure you guys could work something out. Probably be willing to make one for you if you offered him enough to make 2 that way he could have one for advertising. Feel free to post his info if you like. I would prefer to remain anonomys.
