Why is this a news headline in the Globe?

It would be news if Zawahri vows to join the Brookline PTO or something. But when terrorists vow vengeance against someone they are already vowing vengeance against, why the hell is it news? Is it like before they were just kind of half-heartedly vowing vengeance, but now they mean it?

What is wrong with the media? I think it would be a lot more efficient if we cut out the middleman, and just got our news releases directly from the terrorists.
