Your New Knife!

That’s beautiful! The profile of the blade is really cool. Reminds me of a kiritsuke with a more curved belly. For food, it looks like it would be perfect for people who prefer rocking method of cutting. How long is the cutting edge?
Thank you. Been a long time but IIRC it was around 8”.
I always preferred a little belly. Flat edges can end up recurve if not sharpened properly. I see it all the time in the restaurants I deal with.

Whoah.

Where can I find one of those?
I 'spidyied' it on E-Bay of all places I visit and made an offer, He bit. I knew it was his favorite knife, as he sent me a note saying how much he loved it and hoped I enjoyed it as much as he did. The 'Damascus' blade work is outrageous, as is the rest of the knife...5" blade, He sent along a South African Tax invoice dated 2001 for a deposit for making knife.

Well we'll see... Russian made... similar to Italian stiletto. Seems to be lacking the gaudy details I usually associate with RPK (Russian Prison Knifes)

I'm looking for a new daily office carry knife. I still can't find my damn CRKT CEO.

This is catching my eye with the Damascus etc. Anyone know of something similar not made in China?

CRKT CEO on ebay. Plenty available.

Don't take this the wrong way but, if you're going to lose knives... Chinese knives fill the bill...

Trying to not sound like a dink, and after much soul-searching, this was what I chose to reply with. ^^^

I don't normally lose knives. I'm still thinking the CEO is in a box of stuff that we'll probably never unpack. I know they've got cool new versions of it but was thinking of going with a different one. I know CIVIVI gets great reviews and the price is certainly right.

Also the CEO can look like a pen in a shirt pocket but it's actually quite heavy and weighs the pocket down too much. My full-size bugout is noticably lighter.

Those definitely showed up on my initial search. I'm still not sure how I feel about those one piece handles. When I decided I wanted Damascus it narrowed it down to prettyuch only Civivi for what I wanted to spend.

They both have scales, not integral frame locks

A Bravo S/E sold for $500 USD on EBAY, and are listed for #325 USD on the MicrotechGear website but OUT OF STOCK.
Some websites show a prototype at $1500 USD.

Not sure if heron163 has a genuine or knockoff....

Was actually eyeing a different style but the handle on this one just fit my hand perfect.

It’s also really well balanced and the fit and finish is pretty solid.

If you haven’t already look at the 940 full size. It is very slim in the pocket and plenty of options for scales and blade steel.
