Is the new Randall for one of your kids, or for yourself?
Kid. The last of the kiddos. He's 7 now; he'll get it in a few years.
That's fantastic. My son turns 18 in January and he is going to get a Model 1-7" that I've been holding for him.
I added a picture of the Smithsonian Bowie next to a Buck 110. It looks ridiculous.
I've got one of their hunter Bowies, the little 5" one with the single hilt; it's a nice knife, and the grind really is different from their normal blades.

Finally some Busse love.chopper...
I had one of busse's very first knifes when I was in the military... wish I had kept that one. The one pictured is the only one I have now. It is easy to sharpen and holds an edge fairly well...

Ugh. Don’t you hate hindsight? I’ve sold lots of cool stuff (including many knives).
I do have several Busse knives and I am thinking of selling two of them and keeping the rest. Yes, I hypocrite much….
My “Spidey-Benza” and my new favorite. Scored this nearly new Brouwer (with aftermarket deep carry clip already attached) for a great deal on fleabay. I liked it WAY more than I expected to, so I added a flytanium copper scale to the show side. Makes it feel very much like a small Sebenza IMO. Perfect carry size for me, terrific ergos, fidgety action, and the copper is already developing an amazing patina.

My new one. Little going away present from my buddies. I already scratched it at work.
Newest to me:
RavenCrest Tactical Covert Reaver w/tanto style blade. Did this one on the websites “Build it Yourself” system that allows blade styles, colors, screws, belt clip etc to all be your own choice/design.
Hard hitting spring in both directions with good lock up and minimal wiggle while fully extended (which is normal for OTF’s).
The cerakote gives a nice kind of grippy-ness to to the handle scales, or at least not as slippery as my Karambit from the same company. That one needed Talon Grip tape all around but man what a difference that made.
Has not failed to fire or retract yet at maybe 2 months old and FF’d almost daily while watching tv or whatever playing around with it.
D2 steel and razor sharp. All in all I’ve been very happy with both purchases from this company and compared to my BM Infidel at more than double the cost, these are both so far 100% more reliable than that POS was before I sold it.

More pics just because knife porn; but this one I’ve had for about 2yrs now. Still in my pocket daily and hasn’t failed yet.
And this one that looks like an auto pocket knife is a fairly new flashlight to me, a ‘Streamlight Wedge’, w/pocket clip, flat body fits nicely in your waistline, pocket, or the admin slots in a bag or briefcase, is rechargeable and has a constant on switch and a temp ‘push’ forward switch that boosts it up to a 1K L for about 10-20 seconds at a time before returning on its own to regular lumens so it doesn’t overheat or waste battery. So far it’s pretty cool. No issues with it.
Scratches and wear gives it character!
