My wife was asking me tonight what did I want for Christmas this year and I drew a blank.[thinking]
In the past I've always had a list and stack of catalogs with pages dog eared filled with gun goodies I've been wanting to get but never got around to ordering. This year though, I have nothing. I've pretty much gotten everything I need for tools, gear, accessories, etc. The only things I do want are high priced rifles and I know she can't afford them because I even can't.[rolleyes] I guess its gift certificates to Richie's.

So whats on your Christmas list?

Well, we don't celebrate Christmas, but . . .

- Glock 23 - many thanks again to Ann for letting me try hers out today. One sweet shooter.

- Damn! A very nice guy at BR&P today "made me" try his 7.5" .45LC Ruger SA. What a sweet gun. Now I've got the drools for one of their revolvers (and I'm not a revolver guy). Don't really want another caliber to buy/load for, but the temptation is almost too great to resist.

Well, since my wife doesn't buy me guns or gun stuff, this is mostly a Christmas list to me...

1. AR variant. Very important. Got to get one before "Ban them all" Deval takes office.

2. Finish AK build. More precisely, get my random pieces to my buddy so he can finish my AK build. My contribution thus far has been to order a parts kit and a US compliance kit. I *did* put both items in the same box.

3. New carry gun. Something small, pocket-pistol-ish. In .380 ACP. Sure wish I could get my hands on a Kel-Tec...

4. Ain't never gonna happen, but a .50 BMG before they're banned would be nice, too...

A Glock and Sig in .40 S&W a RUger Vaqureo .45LC and 2 more cowboy guns. Am I missing anything. Reloading dies for my Dillon.

My list this year is all reloading equipment. Tired of paying retail for ammo. I've been saying I'm going to start reloading for years now, but now I'm motivated. List contains a Dillon 550B and all the accessories. Now I'll just have to wait and see if the family actually buys this stuff. Heres hoping

My Christmas tree will be flanked by 2 new(to me) rifles:

1) Kar.88 in original condition, not altered to 8x57 IS, completely matching,
of 1893 manufacture by the Erfurt arsenal.
It's already "secured" at a dealer.

2) Heym Polizeikarabiner 52 in 8x57 IS, procured by the State Ministry of
Justice in 1960 as equipment for prison guards in the State of Hessen.
It's a Mauser 98 system, 100/200/300 m flip sights, bright and shiny in
almost new condition. It is one of only 84 rifles out of the 1960 contract.

It may be accompanied by a .22 lr insert for K98k's, post-war manufacture
by Voere.

What I want:

- Dillon 650

- Peterbilt 379X with a 625 Cat engine & 18 speed tranny

- 1978 Ford F250 or 1987 Chevy 1500 4x4, 4" lift, 35" tires

- SW M & P in .40

- KelTec .380

- New home South of the Mason Dixon

(I think that the last item is the one that I will actually get this year.) [smile]

I have a Dillon 550B and a 650. Before your family places the order I'd let them know you'll gladly pitch in the extra money to get the 650/casefeeder. The Dillon Powder Check System alone is worth the extra cash. My 650 won't be properly set up until January but you should see BOTH of them in action before you buy. I love my 550 but bought it because I didn't think I could justify the extra cost of the 650/casefeeder. Dillon prices are going up in January. Good luck with whatever you get.[wink]

From SWMBO :
Single malt scotch. Obun or Highland Park.
More AK & AR ammo than I can carry.

From Santa Claus:
A huge and humiliating scandal among the Democrats , preferably one that involves several prison sentances...

There is really nothing I want that can be had. All I could really use right now is a 357SIG barrel for my M&P 40. I will settle for making my wife happy with her gifts. After 32+ years of marriage, we pretty much have what we need and are grateful to have it.

Regards,

My Xmas list:

-- A new car (unlikely to find this under the tree)

If one winds up in your driveway with a HUGE bow on it - you GOTTA post the pic. [laugh]

My list?

Well....since you asked. I want a Kimber .45, a P99, a .40 Sig, an M1, an AR... Should I continue? [wink]

I'd like one of those nice gun cases where you can bring along several handguns (I've got quite a collection these days! [smile] ), a new range bag, and a weather station. [wink]

Yer all set, and so is anyone else who's wife/husband reads this thread. And you're all welcome for me bringing it up. [smile]
Just put some old Mosin and US military style slings in Milsurps' stocking.[wink]

My husband doesn't have time to read the forum. [crying] However, I must say, he knows if he gets me anything gun related (or better yet a gun) that I'm a happy camper. [smile]

Hmmm...

- New varmint rifle (still yet to make a decision, but thinking bolt action, heavy barrel .223)

- Custom work to my newest 1911 [smile]

- Garmin Nuvi 660

- New Computer (I'm still running a PIII 550MHz I bought the middle of '99 [laugh] )

- Fuji E900 Digital Camera

- That's about it, really...[thinking]

~Sony DSC-W50 digital camera (my old Fuji is showing it's age)
~Garmin E-trex Vista Cx (Saw Chris's eTrex unit on the way up to the Destroy a Car shoot and was seriously impressed by it)
~M1 Carbine
~permanent offer from the company I'm contracting for
~New cell phone - possibly a Treo 650
~Gift certificates to Amazon, B&N or Borders are always nice, too.

Hmm.... that's pretty much what I want. What I'll get? Who knows?

I'm with Fubar.

I want a HUGE humiliating scandal involving all the top demorats in Congress that are on the looney left to force them to quit 'public' service forever and severly crimps the 'utopic fog' that has been cast on the sheeple.

Well, I can hope and dream, right?

You forgot to add "big enough that the drive-by media can't ignore it and can't spin it in the Dem's favor".
