You own an SVI ?

Bring dog treats to the meeting. Don't step on the pomeranian or get scared by the pit. Say hello to the goldens and the beagle for me.

Be sure you talk to Brandon about your options. Sandy Strayer (President) is the mad scientist behind all the designs, but Brandon is a very active USPSA shooter and knows competitors need.

Check out the price of super brass before you make the decision on caliber of the open gun. The price of 9x19 brass, and availability of once fired surplus ($38 - $51/K online), makes it an attractive alternative to 38 super / supercomp ($176/K from Dillon)

Consider 4340 carbon steel instead of stainless. Carbon steel is more durable and stays tighter longer, particularly if you ever let the gun run without much lube on the rails. If you like the stainless look, get the PVD coating on the gun.

I would recommend going with super comp over 9mm,
9mm is great if you don't want to pick up your brass, but it will cost as much as super in the long run, you can get a lot of reloads through super, not as many through 9mm, plus to get 100% reliablity you need to cull your 9mm brass.

Super also give more powder options.

Plus you'll piss off all the "regular" 9mm reloaders when they start mixing your brass with theirs and their primers start falling out! [rolleyes]
